Having been a nurse for over 30 years, I have heard families argue and fight over money and belongings when their loved ones are dying. This is when I knew Nursing was not going to be my only career. By becoming a licensed Life Insurance Producer in the states of Arizona, Wisconsin and Minnesota, I am making a huge difference in so many peoples lives! Not only can I help people get life insurance, I can also assist with Home and Auto Insurance. I work with an amazing financial group who can also help with investments. Another area is in providing access to home security promotions with one of the largest home security companies in the U.S. Can you tell I love what I do?
My Story
I did become a Life Insurance Agent as a result of hearing many people bicker over loved ones in the hospital. However, my real story transformed while going through my own process of obtaining annuities and then Life Insurnace. Whilst setting up annuities with people I thought I trusted, I did not know my annuity funds were not being placed in the accounts I thougt they were. Without going into too much personal detail... the person I thought I trusted was really only vested in me for the profit of my invested funds and my funds made no money in the two years that I was invested with them. My take home message is, know and have faith in the honesty of your agent or financial advisor, ask questions until you understand what it is and make sure you know your websites, usernames and passwords and check your account as often as you want. I am finally in a good space. I have my life insurance in place so that if something happened to me, I know my adult son with special needs will be provided for. He will have money to invest and grow for his future.
